At Four Dwellings Primary Academy we are passionate about raising the aspirations of our pupils so that they can reach their full potential by embracing challenges and opportunities.

Research demonstrates that children have a view of their future career from a very young age. In light of this, we aim to challenge any low perceptions by providing the children with role models, opportunities and experiences that challenge them to aim high, beginning with our youngest children in Nursery and continuing up to Year 6.

Our ongoing Careers Project invites the children to take part in trips, workshops and meet visitors to challenge any low perceptions and encourage growth mindsets.  Examples of this are our 'Occupation Station' in Nursery, career focused role play in Reception, Firefighter, Police, Marketing Designers, Engineers and many other visitors to school along with Growth Mindset Workshops in KS2.

We are also now forging links with employers and further education institutes as part of our RISE Programme - where we aim to Raise Inspiration for Successful Employment.  If you feel that you can help our young people by visiting us and possibly working with them, please click on the RISE icon for more information.  Thank you.
