Religious Education

At Four Dwellings Primary, we deliver an engaging and enriching curriculum that teaches about all the main religions and faiths. Through cross-curricular links we establish and promote cultural diversity, identity, respect and tolerance of others.

From Nursery to Year 6, our pupils explore the key beliefs and values that each religion promotes. It offers pupils the opportunity to reflect on themselves, as well as the diverse society that we live in. Through this, our pupils gain a broader understanding of the importance of religion to others.

To develop and enhance what our pupils learn, we provide our pupils with the opportunity to visit different places of worship. This enables our pupils to explore and envisage the way in which others embody and practise their religions on a day-to-day basis.
