In the AES Elementary School, we know that the learning activities that our teachers provide on a daily basis cannot be simply replicated when students are away from school. However, we believe that Continuous Learning should include meaningful experiences on and off-screen where students are able to take ownership of their learning. We expect that students will have additional time to deepen their learning by taking part in teacher and self-initiated activities and explorations that incorporate our students’ preferences and interests. Teachers and parents will be able to nurture student thinking by asking thoughtful questions and reflecting with our students on a regular basis.
