Business has come a long way since then though, using technology to allow the selling of goods and services to become faster than ever before. Understanding how these business systems work will make you a better employee for any type of company.
It is simple to say that you will learn a lot on any business course, every business that sells its goods and services to people in your local area or around the world is structured in a way that has been developed over centuries.

Better communication skills - both written and verbal. Every business starts off as a project, these project development skills will help you to organise and solve problems in all aspects of your life.

Well if you are not the sort to start your own business yet, the skills you learn in our business courses will set you up to be a valuable member of any organisation. The list of skills provided in the previous section are the main ones that businesses look for in their employees and if you have studied business you will have an insight to how their organisation works, and that is crucial in making yourself stand out.
Business courses can be started in Year 9, at GCSE level and if you have a love of business or want to start your own enterprise, we have a sixth form option which will allow you to gain an A-Level equivalent. This could lead to a degree or an apprenticeship in business, enterprise or finance.
The courses we offer are BTEC and have a great reputation in the business world, it means that you have practical and applicable skills to offer an employer right away when you have made your choices. If you want to be work ready, then the BTEC course is definitely the one for you.
