By completing science based courses, and participating in research labs, I have gained skill in the area of scientific inquiry. I also believe I have been able to apply an inquiring mind to many other areas of my life, especially in courses which are not science based.
Why it's important:
Scientific inquiry is important in healthcare because it allows for medical advancement and positive change within the healthcare system, as well as better individual practice.
