Description (300-500 characters): Student Fellows have the opportunity to shape learning on campus by sharing their insights on learning and classroom experiences. In addition, they have the opportunity to develop leadership skills, foster goodwill between students and faculty, and participate in conversations about teaching and learning. Student Fellows work closely with the Adams Center staff, meeting monthly as a group, as well as one-on-one with an AC staff member. Over the course of the school year, each Student Fellow is required to write one post for the Adams Center blog and lead one Adams Center lunch session for a small group of faculty. In addition, students have access to the Adams Center facilities throughout the year and receive a $500 honorarium for the one-year commitment. We anticipate the time commitment to be approximately 3 hours a month. I was recommended because "[I am] charitable, thoughtful, and honest, have good communication skills, and possess leadership potential."
