Tengudaira Mt.lodge is located at the heart of the Tateyama mountain range. The mountain known as Tateyama is considered one of the three holy mountains in Japan besides, Hakusan and the prominent impressive Mt.Fuji being the other two Holy mountains in Japan.

All three mountains receive hundreds if not millions of tourists every year.
