Virtual instruction takes on different forms!
In addition to live, in-person, synchronous learning, AACPS will utilize asynchronous instructional learning days as well. These days will ask the teachers to have lesson materials, activities, and resources ready for students to use independently.

Attendance & Student Support on an Asynchronous VID
Attendance:
Students: Must access course(s) by 2:00 pm on the VID (Virtual Instruction Day).
Teachers: Mark attendance in PowerSchool Teacher by 11:59 pm on the VID.
Directions for taking attendance.
Teachers are encouraged to post an Assignment that students submit to confirm their access to the course for the day.

Students needing teacher assistance should use the Google Meet link posted in their Brightspace class(es) to join their teacher virtually.

Posting Work for Students (tip)
Post assignments in Brightspace in Announcements, Content folders OR Assignment areas no later than 8:45am on the Asynchronous VID (Virtual Instruction Day).
If you choose, set-up a Brightspace Content Unit for Virtual Instruction Days (VID) and an HTML Document for each VID.
