There are so many benefits of digital discussion boards we couldn't fit them all here, but hopefully we can sell you on giving them a try. With discussions, students not only get to share their learning and opinions with one another and their teachers, but they can share projects for peer-to-peer feedback as well. In Brightspace they are not just limited to text, they can share images, attachments, videos and so much more to add multimedia to make the discussions even more engaging. 💡Instructional Inspiration

Have students use the Video Notes tool inside of a Discussion question in Brightspace. They can even comment on each other’s videos using the Reply option.

Create individual student journals using the dynamic duo, Groups and Discussions! Journals can be set up with single-member Groups, creating a workspace only viewable by them (and their teacher).
