Minecraft Education is game-based learning guaranteed to engage your students! AACPS has created individual build world templates allowing teachers to easily incorporate Minecraft into their daily instruction for groups of 24 or 40 students. Individual build worlds are like having a museum of student-built models and structures. Teachers have access to all student builds in one world. Great as no-cost, mess free alternative to traditional 3-D paper projects. Students have more freedom and space to express their creativity in this virtual world.

Individual build worlds:
Open the world via Minecraft Education on your teacher device. *Note: The world is saved to the first device used to open it. E.G. teachers can not use their laptop at school and a different device at home.
Once in the world, type "/wb" to walk through barriers into student build spaces.
Using it with Brightspace
Minecraft Education is accessed through individual devices. You can use Brightspace Announcements to share the "Join Code" with students.
Students can submit their .MWorld file to a Brightspace assignment for you to download and import.
