These lessons were designed for days an asynchronous virtual instruction day has been implemented. The activities are standards-based and take into account the skills taught in the first half the year. 

Wixie was chosen as the platform because it supports read aloud, voice typing, audio and video recording, drawing, and drag and drop. Work will automatically be shared with the teacher without the students needing to take additional steps. For more information and resources on Wixie, click here. 

 If teachers choose to use these lessons, they should review the documentation and make any necessary customizations to meet the needs of their students before assigning to students. These lessons are not required, but simply provided as an  emergency option and as examples of good asynchronous lessons.
