Google Earth Voyager

Several of the field trip slide decks link to Google Earth Voyager stories.

Professionally curated virtual field trips built in Google Earth. Imagery includes interactive Street View and Photo Spheres that allow viewers to immerse themselves in the virtual experience. In addition to imagery, stories include information boxes about each location with an option to click to learn more.

Google Earth

Several of the field trip slide decks link to Street View experiences that load in Google Earth.

Google Earth for Chrome is an entirely online composite of Earth. A combination of satellite, aerial and street view imagery has been used to create a digital version of our world that HS students and teachers can explore for free, from any web-enabled device. Teachers can share Google Earth whole-group for ES and MS students.

Google Earth is on Classlink for staff and students.

Virtual Vacation

Includes walking, driving, and aerial video tours of locations from around the world. Students can choose the location of their choice or be taken to random locations.

Also includes the city guesser game that challenges attention to detail and critical thinking as students attempt to guess where they are in a region of the world.

Terrain 360

Terrain 360

Includes interactive maps and virtual trails for attractions across the United States. You can hover over locations marked on the map to zoom in and learn more about it and even click on the location to be taken into a street view 360 interactive view.

Terrain 360 is only accessible to staff in AACPS and will need to be shared whole-group with students.
