Each of the activities on the slide decks are free, AACPS approved, and MD CCRS standard aligned. You may need to include additional slides and information for you students. You may also need to modify the assignments to differentiate.

Discovery Education is accessible to students but not to substitutes.

The student activities provided in these sub plans should be assigned to students via their Canvas course. 

• Suggestion: Post your required emergency sub plans in Canvas as a hidden unit. When the plans are needed, drag it to the current unit so that students can easily find it.

You can add the substitute to your Canvas course under Course Admin→ Classlist→ Add Participant. Assign them as co-teacher for the day.
