SMART Shout it out

Teacher: click this link to add the Shout it Out activity to your Lumio Library. Click on the activity thumbnail and choose START. Click on the People icon in the upper left to get your Class ID code. Have students select Lumio by SMART from their Classlink dashboard and enter your Class ID. Once everyone is in your lesson, click Start for Class from the center of the page. You can verbally ask students your question or write it on your class whiteboard. When you have all student responses, click the gear on the left toolbar and choose End to stop accepting responses.

Teacher: choose a topic from your curriculum.

Copy and paste the following into Instructions box: In the text box below share 4 "facts" about [insert content topic here]. 3 of your facts should be true and accurate, 1 should not be true. Click SUBMIT when done.

Copy and paste the following into Instructions box: In the textbox below include a minimum of three sentences - one for what the picture/video makes you think about, one for what you see in the picture/video, one for what it makes you wonder.
