About Canvas Grades and Feedback
Grades and feedback in Canvas help you understand how you are doing in each subject. You can check your subject grades and read assignment comments from your teacher to learn what you did well and what to work on next.

From Homeroom, select the Grades tab [1] to see how you are doing in your subjects. If your teacher allows it, you will see your total grade [2] for each subject right away.
To learn more about a subject, select the subject name [3]. This opens the subject grades screen, where you can see all of your assignments, the points you earned, the points possible, and any comments your teacher left. If there is a comment, you can click the speech bubble to read it.

Viewing Assignment Comments in Canvas helps you check for feedback on your work. If your teacher has shared comments, you can find them on the Grades page or by opening the assignment and viewing Submission Details. Comments are often shown in the assignment sidebar.Â
