Canvas is a learning management system (LMS) that teachers and students use for online teaching and learning. Teachers will use Canvas to communicate, answer questions, post lessons and assignments, and keep their students up to date digitally. Students will access lessons, communicate, ask questions and turn in assignments using Canvas.
Canvas is accessed through AACPS Connect, powered by Classlink. Best practice is to access AACPS Connect by logging into the Chrome browser.
Note: If you encounter issues on a personal computer, please ensure the student is properly logged into the Chrome browser with their AACPS credentials.

Use digital tools to learn in different ways
In Canvas, you’ll find your learning organized by subjects, such as reading, math, or science, all in one place. Teachers use Canvas to share learning materials and activities in ways that support your classroom learning.
In Canvas, each of your Courses (Classes) has its own space where you can access things your teacher shares, such as lessons, assignments, discussions, and grades. Canvas helps you stay organized and manage your work across all your classes.
