Scheduling Requests:
All scheduling-related requests will be reviewed and responded to no later than September 9th. Please know that submitting multiple requests regarding the same concern will not expedite the process.
Counselor Appointments:
Beginning September 8th, counselor appointments will open for students and families who need assistance with non-scheduling-related concerns.
In the meantime, we encourage students and families to visit the Meade School Counseling website for answers to many common questions and concerns.

Corrections will be addressed in the order received and prioritized at the School Counselor’s discretion. Students are expected to report to class on time and remain in class until contacted by their School Counselor. Counselors will coordinate directly with teachers when requesting a student.
Students reporting to the Counseling Office (H115) must present a valid pass and sign in upon arrival.
AP COURSES
Any student requesting to drop an AP course must receive administrative approval. The first step is for the student to email Mr. Romanski (rromanski@aacps.org) requesting to drop the course. The email must include:
A statement explaining why they want to drop the AP course;
The alternative course they would like to take; and
An explanation of how removing the AP course will improve their education moving forward.
The student's statement will be shared with their administrator and Dr. Durr or Mr. Yore for final approval. Students should not assume that a request to drop an AP course has been approved until they receive confirmation. If a student is approved to drop an AP course after October 23, they will be responsible for a $40 AP Exam cancellation fee.
