Work Permits are issued through the Department of Labor.
Work permits are required for all minors under the age of 18 to work in the State of Maryland.

Get a job offer.
Fill out work permit application online at the Maryland Department of Labor's Employment of Minors (Work Permit) page.
Print out Permit
You, your parent/guardian, and your employer must sign the permit.
Remember: If you change jobs, you need a new permit!
