Christine Johnson
Executive Assistant
Proud to serve the residents and visitors of Anne Arundel County since 2018. It has been an honor and a privilege to support and contribute to our communities and our amazing fire department over the past seven years. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be part of this team and look forward to continuing this important work alongside all of you.

The Executive Assistant role is characterized by a high degree of autonomy, discretion, and project management. Key areas of focus this year included:
Strategic Calendar & Command Support: Managed complex, shifting schedules for the Command Staff, ensuring leadership remained prioritized for high-level decision-making and emergency response oversight.
Promotional Process Oversight: Coordinated the logistics for departmental promotions, acting as the primary point of contact for candidate interviews and ensuring all portions of the process were a success.
Confidentiality & Information Security: Served as the gatekeeper for sensitive and confidential information, legal documentation, and strategic planning data.
Meeting Coordination: Managed the coordinated communication for Command Staff with internal and external stakeholders, including agenda development and minutes distribution.
A significant portion of this year’s success can be attributed to the EA’s leadership in Special Projects. These initiatives moved beyond standard administrative functions to the management of large-scale department events, such as the Recruit Class Graduation, Promotional Ceremony, and more.
