Maxime Defurne

Maxime DEFURNE obtained a Master degree in Engineering and Nanoscience in 2012. He did his PhD at Commissariat de l'energie atomique in France on the extraction of deeply virtual Compton scattering and deep virtual meson production cross sections at Jefferson Lab to study the 3D structure of the proton. Since 2015, he is staff scientist and head of the Jefferson Lab research group at CEA. He is supervisor of two PhD students analyzing the recent CLAS12 data collected in 2018 and 2019.
