I was born in Barcelona in 1974 where I got my PhD in 2001. After working several years in Italy (Pisa), Germany (Darmstadt), Spain (Barcelona) and Portugal (Coimbra) since September 2017 I am resercher of the Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare (INFN) at the University of Catania (Italy).

My research activity has been mainly focused in the areas of Nuclear Physics and Astrophysics, being particularly interested among other things in the nuclear many-body problem, the dense and hot matter equation of state, and the physics of neutron stars.
