Daria Sokhan

Daria Sokhan is a senior lecturer at the University of Glasgow, specialising in the experimental study of hadron physics. She conducts experiments in electron scattering at Jefferson Lab, USA, studying the quark-gluon structure of hadrons. Daria obtained her undergraduate degree in Physics from the University of Cambridge and her PhD in hadron physics from the University of Edinburgh (2009). Her PhD was followed by a brief stay at Pavia in Italy, on an INFN fellowship for foreign scientists, and three years as a CNRS post-doc at IPN Orsay in France. At the end of 2012, Daria started as a lecturer at Glasgow University and has been there since.
