SECTION 13 COACHING STANDARDS AND REQUIREMENTS

First Aid/CPR/AED – every 2 years

WIAA Concussion Management (mywiaa.com) – every 2 years

Sudden Cardiac Awareness Training (NFHSlearn.com) – every 2 years

WVSD Coaches Manual training – every year

15 clock hours (or coaches hours) every 3 years

It is the responsibility of the coach to document these hours and keep proper records. Please also make a copy and give to your building Athletic Director.

WVSD will pay each coach’s registration fee (once every 3 years) to attend the WIAA Coaches School (usually held in Yakima in August).

Work with the West Valley Extra Curricular Association’s president for registration and payment information.
