Coaches Clearance

The following MUST be completed before the FIRST day of practice for that sports season:

WIAA RULES TEST:

• Login to mywiaa.com
• You will take the following tests: General Rules (Every year), Sport Specific Rules (Every year), Concussion (Good for 3 years), Sudden Cardiac (Good for 3 years)
• Some of you may have completed portions of this with other sports you coach. You will know when you log in (check with your building AD if you do not know your user ID or password)
• You DO NOT NEED to print off certificates. ADs can access all certificates online

Heat Illness:

• If you've never taken an NFHS course before, you will need to register. It's a free course.
• NFHS Heat Illness Prevention Course
• You DO NEED to print off certificate and give to your AD

WVSD Coaches Handbook:

• Please sign the "Signature Page" on this document. More importantly, you can reference back to this link for travel documents, budget forms, facility use forms, and MUCH more.
• You will need to open the "Emergency Action Plan" link in the "Fillable Documents" tab and create one for your team (teams if C/JV/V). Please work with your building trainer or your building AD on this. You AD, trainer (if HS) and you need to have one on file.

First Aid/CPR Card

• You DO NEED to provide a copy of both to your building AD
• Check with your AD or district office for class offerings
