File Types Provided and How They are Used
EPS (Encapsulated PostScript) - Use for Print Applications
EPS (.eps.) files are vector-based images opened using Adobe Illustrator.
The vector images contain bit maps that tell each pixel in the image what size and color they should be so that you can make an image into nearly any size without restriction or possible pixelation.
EPS is considered the best choice of graphics format for high resolution printing of illustrations.
Changes to the logo can be made using the EPS file.
PNG (Portable Network Graphics) - Use for Digital Applications
PNG (.png) is the most widely used lossless image compression format on the Internet. Lossless image compression means the degree of compression can be adjusted, allowing a selectable tradeoff between storage size and image quality.
PNG was designed for transferring images on the Internet, not for professional-quality print graphics, and therefore does not support non-RGB color spaces such as CMYK.
PNG files can support transparent image backgrounds.
