Watersheds

Thanks to Ignite and the PTA for sponsoring today's in-school field trip. SCARCE came to teach us about watersheds, pollutants, and our community's environment. It was a perfect extension to both our Land and Water and Ecosystem science units. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the model and 'polluting' the land, and the visual of the pollutants seeping into the land after a rain was quite powerful.
