Awesome job securing the win against Glastonbury! To start things off, we know the weather wasn’t the greatest during this day, but nevertheless, it hadn’t changed the amount of effort everyone put in their races. Not only have we had notable performances during this meet, but the amount of motivation the team was able to give to those who competed had just been out of this world. IMPORTANT Even if your name isn’t on this list, your contribution in the races, carrying out important tasks, and cheering on haven’t been in vain. Thank you for your support and hopes for future improvements (Helpers: Scott Rider, Ethan Hixson, Jacob Schneider, Alex Walshaw, and the entire Hall Track Team).
Although we come from two different schools, each of us have something in common: We race with all our effort. Whether it be running against each other or trying to reach a CCCs time, the commitment from both teams was outstanding. Seeing two people from different schools high-fiving each other at the finish line doesn’t just signify a “good race.” It shows the equal ground both athletes stand on without any conflict behind each of them. On behalf of that, we congratulate the Glastonbury coach’s valiant effort in the meet and hope to compete against each other again at CCCs.
