Hello future Honors Pre- Calculus students, you are in for a very fun and eventful year! The name of this class sounds a lot scarier than it actually is. There is some new material that you probably have not learned yet, but it is not too hard to pick up on. Even if you do have questions or do not understand something, Mr. Bain is great at answering your questions and explaining each problem step-by-step. Math is my worst subject, but I still managed to do well in this class. To pass this class with decent grades, you need to write down all of the notes Mr. Bain gives you. All of his tests are open notes, but do to well on them, you need to take quality notes and turn in all of the homework worksheets on time. You should also do these worksheets with your best effort. NEVER copy the answers from online, it will not help you in the long run. For me, math was always boring, but Mr. Bain would continuously manage to make class fun. He would often show Trivia over certain T.V. shows and making it a competition between the classes. (I highly recommend watching The office, Parks and Recreation, and Brooklyn Nine-Nine). As long as you try your best and put forth effort, you will be completely fine. Have fun and goodluck!!
