Dear Mr. Bain’s Future Students,

Mr. Bain has asked us to write his future students a letter of advice. To start, this is going to be one of the most enjoyable classes whether you like math or not. Mr. Bain always makes the class more fun than just learning math. Some things that you should do if you want to succeed in this class are taking really good notes and always asking questions if you ever get confused. I have never been the best note taker, but since we were allowed to use our notes on tests, I always made sure that I wrote down everything Mr. Bain wrote on the board and it really helped me during tests. However taking good notes also made it easier for me to remember certain things that are going to be important in future math classes. Asking questions is also important because if you don’t understand something, there is no way to just figure it out on your own. That is what teachers are there for, so you don’t struggle when it comes to tests. And most of the time that you ask a question, Mr. Bain will give you a simple way on how to remember it so that it always sticks with you. All in all though, this class was very enjoyable for me, and I hope it is for you as well.
