Dear future student,

Welcome to Precalc. If you have already taken Honors Algebra II, the first few months will be easy and you will have a leg up. If you took regular Algebra II, congrats, almost everyone but you has already learned everything in the first quarter. Either way, the tests are easy as long as you take notes. I don’t want to be mean or call anyone out, but don’t be the kid taking notes on the cardboard back of their notebook while simultaneously taking notes for another class and scrolling through Instagram. Just don’t. The unit circle will be the death of you if you don’t have the chart. You’ll see what I mean (Cue Stayin’ Alive). Oh, and be sure to never eat in class, because all food is on the table for Bain to eat. He keeps a bottle of hot sauce in the cabinet for emergencies, or at least he used to (It wouldn’t surprise me if he begins to carry condiments with him from classroom to classroom). If you miss several days, get the notes from the website or ask a friend, a smart one I might add, to let you copy theirs. Every so often he will make a few obscure references to movies, 80’s music, or tv shows. It helps if you laugh, or if you know what he’s talking about. It is an easy class if you do the work. Always remember to Doc B. Never forget one thing: the answer is always 32, Tyrone Hill, or Will Smith.
