Whitfield Education Association (WEA) Cecil Sells Memorial Scholarship for Future Educators--$350--$500 (deadline May 6. 2022)

Graduating seniors from Whitfield County who are planning on majoring in an education related field may apply.


GA Alpha Delta Kappa --$250 (deadline May 6, 2022)

The GA Alpha Delta Kappa Alpha Upsilon Scholarship for Future Educators was established by the Alpha Upsilon Chapter in memory of Nancy Bryant as an incentive to encourage the preparation of teachers in elementary, secondary, and/or special education.


James and Geneva Causby Trammell Worth Student Fund (deadline May 18, 2021)

The James and Geneva Causby Trammell Worthy Student Fund has been

established to provide perpetual annual scholarships in any amount as determined at

the discretion of the trustee, for the continuing education for college, vocational, and

technical education and for agricultural pursuits, to students at Northwest Whitfield

High School.

Mr. Grover Causby, a former Whitfield County Schools educator, established this

memorial scholarship in honor of his sister, Mrs Gevena Causby Trammell and her

husband Mr. James Trammell who were also former Whitfield County Schools

educators for many, many years.

The James and Geneva Causby Trammell Worth Student Fund will award a

scholarship(s) to Northwest Whitfield High School students in pursuit of a career in

Agriculture. These students may choose to attend college, a technical training program,

or pursue other career related endeavors in the area of Agriculture. Scholarship

recipients will be awarded according to the following criteria:

1) review of submitted questions and essay(s)

2) leadership potential

3) good academic standing

4) career goals/vision.

The applicant must be a full-time student at Northwest Whitfield High School

that has been or will be accepted into a college program that offers an agricultural

degree or a two-year transferable Ag program to go on and major in agricultural

curriculum, qualifies for entrance into a vocational/ technical skills program related to

Agriculture, or has plans to go directly into the agricultural industry through

entrepreneurial type endeavors.


Paradigm Challenge Scholarship--100 @ $100,000 (deadline May 1, 2021)

The Paradigm Challenge is an ongoing competition that invites students aged 4 to 18 around the world to use kindness, creativity, and collaboration to help solve real-life problems and make a difference.


CodeWizardsHQ Educational Scholarship--$2500 (deadline May 1, 2021)

Once a year, a high school senior or incoming college freshman will receive $2500 to support their education.

At CodeWizardsHQ we believe that the future is built on diversity through equity and access. While we actively work toward implementing hiring practices that are geared toward diversifying our team, we also understand that having access to higher education is a means to broadening a diverse candidate pool for the future STEM workforce. We have created this scholarship to support youth in the attainment of their dreams.


PHCC Educational Foundation Scholarships--56 @ $2500 (deadline May 1, 2021)

Access 56 scholarships worth up to $150,000, all with one application! The PHCC Educational Foundation and its industry partners are teaming up to provide financial assistance to students pursuing a career in the plumbing-hvac-construction industry.


The David Skinner/Georgia Development Authority Scholarship--up to five $1500 scholarships (deadline first Monday in May)

Scholarships in the amount of $1,500.00 will be awarded annually to students enrolled in the study of Agriculture or an Agriculture related field. The applicant must have successfully passed their high school academic requirements and have college entrance exam scores qualifying their admission to an accredited Georgia college, be a Georgia resident and live in a rural county, and be pursuing a degree directly related to agriculture. The application may be found at www.gdaonline.com under the scholarship tab. The online option does require total completion once begun, as there is no way to "save" your work.


African-American Journalism Scholarship--$1000 (deadline May 11, 2021)

While accurate and empathetic coverage of racial injustice is critical right now, historically just 4% of journalists in leadership positions are Black. Building a better, more diverse free press in our country will require widespread support and reform. As one small part of this, the African-American Journalism Scholarship will be awarded to a Black student at any education level who plans on (or already is) pursuing a career in journalism.


Impact Scholarship for Black Students--$2550 (deadline May 11, 2021)

Education is one of the most powerful determinants of access to opportunity. In an effort to build a more equitable country, the Mechanism Ventures team is funding 15 grants for Black students and recent graduates across a wide variety of fields where opportunity is not equal. This scholarship will be awarded to a Black student who excels at dreaming big and starting small while building their vision for the future. Strong candidates will be extremely ambitious, driven, and talented. Students across any field of study or education level are eligible to apply.


Brower Youth Award--5 @ $3000 (deadline May 14, 2021)

Earth Island Institute established the Brower Youth Award for Environmental Leadership in 2000 to honor renowned environmental advocate David Brower, who said, “I love to see what young people can do, before someone old tells them it’s impossible.” It is with this spirit that we recognize the outstanding leadership efforts of young people who are working for the protection of our shared planet.

Eligibility: Youth environmental change leaders ages 13 to 22 (as of May 14, 2021) living in North America (including Mexico, Canada, and some Caribbean Islands) and U.S. territories are encouraged to apply. Our application deadline for submission is Friday, May 14, 2021, at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time.


Gabriel and Christine Chiu Review It Scholarship--$1000 (deadline May 15, 2021)

Student must have a GPA of 2.5 or greater and submit a movie review according to the guidelines stated.


Nordson BUILDS Scholarship Program --$2000-$10,000 (deadline May 15, 2021)

Last year more than 200 students nationwide were awarded Nordson BUILDS Scholarships which range from $2,000 to $10,000. Plus, scholarship recipients get exclusive primary access to internship opportunities and

employment opportunities after graduation.

· These scholarships are targeted at students who live or attend school near a Nordson facility. Your campus is near one of these facilities; therefore, your students may be eligible to apply.

· Eligible majors include Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, and Software), Engineering Technology, Machining, Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain Management, Business, Marketing, Accounting, Finance, Industrial Management, Information Technology, Biomedical, and engineering-related STEM majors leading to a career in the manufacturing industry and corporate America.

· Eligible students seeking bachelor’s degrees must have at least 3.0 cumulative GPA. Associate’s degree and certificate seeking students must have at least 2.7 cumulative GPA.

· Scholarships will be awarded to students enrolled in accredited not-for-profit postsecondary institutions.


2021 Parrish Construction Group Scholarship--$2500 (deadline May 21, 2021)

CANDIDATE ELIGIBILITY: Students who meet the following criteria are eligible for a $2,500 scholarship. 1) Must have a minimum grade point average of 2.5. 2) Applicant must attend a public or private high school in the state of Georgia and must graduate high school in May 2021. 3.)The applicant must be pursuing an education in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.


B Davis Scholarship--$1000 (deadline May 21, 2022)

LM Scholarship--$500 (deadline May 31, 2021)

To be eligible a student must be currently enrolled or expect to enroll in a degree program by September, have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and submit an answer to the essay question prior to the submission deadline, be a US resident or a Canadian resident, and must also attend a school in Canada or the US.


PB&J Scholarship--$500-$1000 (deadline May 30, 2022)

The PB&J scholarship awards students who have experienced challenges in their life that may not have allowed them to perform well academically but still have the drive to succeed.


Caruso Law Car Accident Injury Scholarship.--$1000 (deadline May 31, 2021)

This scholarship is available to all high school seniors and current college students. Those who have been affected by a car accident injury, or know someone who has been affected are encouraged to apply. We understand how difficult it can be to pay for college and law school, and we want to help someone afford a better education Here are some brief notes on this scholarship:

$1,000 (One-time award), Due May 31, 2021, Must be attending a 4-yr college/university or 2-yr community college for Fall 2021, Incomplete or late applications will not be accepted


Full Circle Scholarship--650 @ $15,000 (Deadline May 31, 2021)

Full Circle scholarship applications are accepted every year from Jan 1 – May 31. The American Indian College Fund determines student eligibility and awards the scholarships. All applicants are emailed an award or denial notice by August. Those applicants who are chosen to receive a scholarship will also receive a mailed notice to the address listed on their applications. Here are the basic items that you will need to apply for the Full Circle Scholarship.

Application Process

A) Digital photo – Upload a digital photo that's at least 1.5 MB in size. We share photos with donors, so please ensure it looks professional. Read more in our Application Photo Q&A.

B) Tribal Affiliation – Upload a copy of your proof of tribal enrollment (ID or CIB) or descendency by submitting your parent's or grandparent's proof of tribal enrollment along with your birth certificates that proves descendancy.

C) Transcripts – Upload your most recent college transcript. (unofficial transcripts are accepted). High school students should submit transcripts or GED scores.


SILA Foundation Scholarships--10 @ $1000 (Deadline May 31, 2021)

Between April 1st-May 31st each year, the Securities and Insurance Licensing Association Foundation, Inc. (SILA Foundation, Inc.) is proud to offer the availability of ten one thousand dollar ($1000.00) scholarships to students focused on careers in the insurance and securities industry for use at any accredited post-secondary college or university within the continental United States.

Big Future Scholarships-monthly--Deadlines starting in June

All juniors: Make yourself eligible for $500 and $40,000 scholarships each month. Earn entries in monthly drawings for scholarships by completing steps to plan for college. The sooner you start and the more steps you complete, the more chances you’ll have to win. This month’s entries will continue to be included in upcoming monthly drawings.


Points Scholarship--$1000-$10,000 (scholarships awarded monthly and quarterly)

ScholarshipPoints awards one $10,000 scholarship every quarter of the year exclusively to members. There is no essay required. Simply sign up to be automatically entered into the scholarship. Nitro Scholarship--$2000 (scholarships awarded monthly through 2021)

Eligibility: The $2,000 Nitro Scholarship Sweepstakes is only open to legal residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, age 17 or older at the time of entry, and who meet one (1) of the five (5) following eligibility requirements at the time of entry: a parent who currently has a child enrolled in an accredited college or university located within the United States, a student who is currently enrolled in an accredited college or university located within the United States; a parent who currently has a child enrolled as a high school senior located within the United States; a student who is currently enrolled as a high school senior located with the United States; a student or a parent whose child has graduated from an accredited undergraduate school (a “School) and who is currently paying back a student or parent loan for his/her/child’s educational expenses for such School (“Entrant”).
