Society of Manufacturing Engineers Scholarship--over 30 (deadline Feb 1. 2022)

The SME Education Foundation annually awards millions of dollars in scholarships to graduating high school seniors, undergraduates and graduate students pursuing two-year, four-year or advanced degrees in manufacturing or engineering.


A Salute to Engineering Essay Contest-$500 (deadline Feb 1, 2022)

The 2022 EngineerGirl Writing Contest invites you to submit a piece of writing that salutes engineering’s role in meeting and defeating the challenges presented by COVID-19. The contest is open to individual girls and boys in the following three competition categories: Elementary School Students (grades 3-5), Middle School Students in (grades 6-8), or High School Students (grades 9-12). Employees of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine and their immediate families or those living in the same household as a National Academies employee are not eligible to enter this competition.


Morton Gould Young Composer Award--$5000 (deadline Feb 1, 2022)

To be eligible for the scholarship, a student must: be a young composer, be a US Citizen, permanent resident or student that is at least 13 years of age.


Army ROTC Scholarship (deadline to start application: Feb 4, 2022)

The Four-Year High School Scholarship is for high school students planning on attending a four-year college program. Contact your high school academic advisor or campus Military Science department for more information. The scholarship can pay either tuition and fees or room and meals; a monthly stipend, and $1200 per year for books. For Georgia residents who are eligible for the HOPE scholarship, it can be used in conjunction with an Army ROTC Scholarship, Hope can only be applied to tuition. Georgia residents on the ROTC scholarship will also receive up to $1500 in grants from the State of Georgia at the end of each semester.

REQUIREMENTS: Be a U.S. citizen; Be between the ages of 17 and 26; Have a high school GPA of at least 2.50; Have a high school diploma or equivalent

ACT or SAT score is required as is a physical test.

YOUR COMMITMENT: An eight-year service commitment with the Army. Serve full time in the Army for four years and four years with the Army (active), Reserve, National Guard or Individual Ready Reserve (IRR).

Selected Cadets may choose to serve part time in the Army Reserve or Army National Guard while pursuing a civilian career

Elks National Foundation Legacy Awards-$4000 (deadline Feb 7, 2022)

Legacy Awards are $4,000 scholarships available to children and grandchildren of Elks members.


McDonald's HACER Scholarship Program--$100,000; 30 awards (deadline Feb 7, 2022)

To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must: be a high school senior that is younger than 21 years old and carries a minimum 2.8 GPA; have at least one parent of Hispanic heritage.


Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF) Scholarship--$500-$5000 (application opens January 1, deadline is February 14)

Georgia Military Scholarships--value $70,000 each (deadline February 15, 2022)

42 Georgia Military Scholarships (GMS) valudes at $70,000 each are available to college-bound seniors. The scholarship pays for four years of tuition, fees, room, meals, books, and uniforms at the University of North Georgia in the Corps of Cadets. Students must be admitted to UNG to qualify.


Gordon A. Rich Memorial Scholarship--7 @ up to $12, 500 (deadline Feb. 16, 2022)

College scholarship money is available to offspring of those working in the financial services industry. Each GAR scholarship is worth up to $50,000 (approx. $12,500 per year) awarded to bright, hardworking high school seniors who have a financial need.


Georgia 4-H Scholarships--$4000 (deadline February 21, 2022)

Each year Georgia 4-H, through its donors and partner organizations award over $50,000 in scholarships to 4-H’ers and youth involved with the Livestock Projects across the state.


Vegetarian Resource Group--$5000-$10,000 (deadline Feb. 20, 2022)

The Vegetarian Resource Group each year will award $30,000 in college scholarship money to graduating U.S. high school students who have promoted vegetarianism in their schools and/or communities.


Women's Cybersecurity Scholarships--$1000-$5000 (deadline Feb 28, 2022)

(ISC)² WOMEN’S SCHOLARSHIPS in Conjunction with the KnowBe4 Women in Cybersecurity Scholarship. Up to ten scholarships will be awarded. Each scholarship award will be between $1,000 – $65,000 Scholarships to inspire women to join the ever-growing field of Information Security.


National Farmers Farm Kids Scholarships--3 @ $1000 each (deadline Feb. 22, 2022)

At National Farmers, we are honored to encourage the next generation to chase their ag dreams – and catch them. Part of how we at National Farmers do that, is through the national Farm Kids for College Scholarship. The competition is open to high school seniors who plan to pursue agriculture-related degrees. Applicants write two brief essays, submit two letters of reference, official transcripts, GPA and ACT or SAT scores.


Play Scholars Helping Collars Scholarship--3 @ $1500 each (deadline Feb. 28, 2022)

Students from across the U.S. are invited to apply for P.L.A.Y.’s annual Scholars Helping Collars Scholarship. This $1,500 scholarship rewards one student who can tell the best story, describing the impact he or she made in the life of a rescue animal or animal welfare cause in general.


KnowBe4 Women’s Scholarship--$10,000 (deadline Feb 28, 2022)

Must identify as a female pursuing, or plan to pursue, a degree with a focus on cybersecurity, information assurance or similar field.

You must be an undergraduate freshman, sophomore, junior or senior, or graduate student in the fall of 2022. PhD students are not eligible.

GPA must be at least 3.3 on a 4.0 scale (or an analogous rank based on a comparable scale).

You must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident in the United States.


2022 The Places You Go Scholarship--$10000 (deadline Feb. 28, 2022)

The candidate must submit a 500-word essay response to the prompt and/or a 1-minute minimum video essay: Discuss how moving or exposure to new environments through travel can positively impact a person’s life. Include a personal story and what life lessons were learned through this experience.

The candidate must submit a professional resumé that lists their experience, both professional and academic.

The candidate must submit a transcript from their current school. First-year college students, graduate students, or individuals who have recently transferred schools may submit an unofficial transcript from their current school, as well as the most recent official transcript from their prior school. High school students must also submit proof of acceptance to their college or university.


2022 THE DEBBIE TAUSSIG COMPASSION SCHOLARSHIP--$1000 (Feb. 28, 2022)

The scholarship is open to any current high school senior, college student or graduate student who is a legal resident of the United States residing in one of the 50 states or the District of Columbia and who is enrolled in a two to five-year post-secondary institution for the 2022 fall semester.

Candidates for this scholarship should have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher and be in good overall academic standing.

The candidate must submit a 750-1,000 word essay response to the prompt: Tell us about a time where you showed compassion towards others, and what important life lesson(s) you learned.

The candidate must submit a professional resumé that lists their experience, both professional and academic.

The candidate must submit a transcript from their current school.


Sallie Mae Bridging the Dream Scholarship--75 @ $10,000 (deadline February 28, 2022)

The Bridging the Dream Scholarship for High School Seniors will award (25) $10,000 scholarships to high school seniors who plan to enroll in a two- or four-year degree professional certificate, or vocational training program. Seniors who excel inside and outside of the classroom and demonstrate financial need can apply.


Living With Epilepsy Scholarships--multiple scholarships

Scholarships are offered with a variety of criteria to a vast pool of candidates. For people with epilepsy or their family members, there may be special scholarships just for you. Scholarships can be offered for any level of education but are generally given for assistance in college or graduate school.


Writers & Illustrators of the Future contest--from $500 up to $5000 ($500 winners each quarter, $5000 each year)

Submissions taken year round, and quarterly awards of $500 are given. Yearly awards of $5000 are given.


Varsity Tutors Monthly College Scholarship Contest

Write an essay, promote it online, and you may win a $1000 scholarship. This is a monthly contest.


Big Future Scholarships-monthly--Deadlines starting in June

All juniors: Make yourself eligible for $500 and $40,000 scholarships each month. Earn entries in monthly drawings for scholarships by completing steps to plan for college. The sooner you start and the more steps you complete, the more chances you’ll have to win. This month’s entries will continue to be included in upcoming monthly drawings.


DoSomething Scholarships (monthly scholarships)

Do you like making a difference in your school or community? If you do, DoSomething has many campaigns to make a difference, and for participating, you will be entered to win a scholarship.


Points Scholarship--$1000-$10,000 (scholarships awarded monthly and quarterly)

ScholarshipPoints awards one $10,000 scholarship every quarter of the year exclusively to members. There is no essay required. Simply sign up to be automatically entered into the scholarship.
