English Language Learners at Davis Drive Elementary School will be prepared to use academic and social language needed to be successful students and make progress in the core curriculum and extra-curricular areas. They will demonstrate progress in the language domains of Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing, and achieve a language proficiency level that will enable them to continue being successful learners in the next grade level and beyond.

The mission is to support academic and social language acquisition of the English Language Learner by using 21st century skills to promote critical thinking skills, differentiated instruction, collaboration with classroom teachers and parents, creative learning experiences, and data driven instructional practices.
