Mrs. Svetlana Roda

My name is Svetlana Roda and I am an ESL teacher at Davis Drive Elementary. 2025-2026 school year is my 10th year teaching ESL at Davis Drive Elementary. As a teacher, I enjoy working with students and share with them my love for learning.I strive to support my students the best way I can so that they can learn to their best capabilities and reach their optimal potential.

I hold Master of Education Degree from Meredith College. I also graduated with Master of Arts degree in Linguistics and Education from Novosibirsk State Pedagogical University which is located in my hometown in Russia!

On a personal note...I am married and have two daughters. As a family, we enjoy spending time together, visit with our friends, and also enjoy the beautiful coast of NC!

Ms. Emilie Fallon

My name is Emilie Fallon and I am an ESL teacher at Davis Drive Elementary. This school year is my 5th year teaching public school in North Carolina and my 2nd year teaching at Davis Drive Elementary.  As an ESL teacher, I am committed to helping students grow and gain confidence in their language skills. I also want all students to understand their ability to speak more than one language is a major strength! 

I hold a Master of Education from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill which is located in my hometown. I also hold a North Carolina K-6 Teaching License and an ESL certification. 

On a personal note…I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling, and visiting the beach.
