(1) Unit One - Foundation of Justice
Unit one is called the foundation of justice. We focus on the early history of the United States by studying the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights in detail. The role of government in creating a just society is explored.
In this unit, we will have at least two standards-based assignments to evaluate your learning: Translating the Declaration of Independence Flip book and the Three Branches of Government Google Earth Project.
