Three Branches Google Earth project - due on or before Friday 11/30
Post date: Nov 16, 2012 1:57:30 PM
We have been learning about the structure of our national government - how it is broken up into three parts, called branches, each with its own specific powers and responsibilities. Student are working in the computer lab on a project which pushes them to demonstrate that they understand how our government is organized and how the branches interact. Using Google Earth, students will create placemarks filled with information and pictures gathered from our time in the computer lab. Students can work outside of class as well on any research, but not on Google Earth; the page "Three Branches Google Earth" (on the navigation bar at left) has all the links and handouts we've used.
