In the last few days students have been creating initial thoughts about the concept of "Justice." One of the big ideas students have discussed is that what is just is often a matter of perspective and that reasonable people can disagree. In this project, students are analyzing a common situation from two different perspectives. They are writing two paragraphs about the situation (one from each perspective: just and unjust) by using our classroom definitions of justice. The final copy is due via Google Docs on Wednesday 10/3 by the end of the school day. Handouts are below.
