LI-COR Odyssey CLx Scanner
This is the primary system we use for our molecular experiments. The LI-COR Odyssey CLx Scanner is a state of the art instrument that can be used to perform western blot, ELISA, immunocytochemistry, and in vivo imaging. For more details about the machine please see the LI-COR web site.
Space
My Wet Lab Space
So in the photo to the left you are looking at two separate photos (top and bottom) that show different spaces in my lab. A common feature about all this wet lab space is a large availability of storage space waiting to be used in future experiments. The bottom picture shows a very staged scene of ongoing lab work. Oh if only things were always this neat.
EVOS Fl Microscope
Shared Wet Lab Space
This space is shared between myself and another research investigator. It has an explosion proof fridge flammable storage cabinet, safe, fume hood, and oven. As you can see there is also lots of storage space that we plan on filling up pretty soon.
Cryostat Wet Lab Space
This room houses our cryostat and the available bench space is particularly useful when processing brain tissue for western blot electrophoresis.
