When I initially applied to UD, I majored in biology because it felt like my only option as a pre-med student. I didn’t feel drawn to it, so after watching documentaries about the brain on Netflix, I decided to change my major to neuroscience. This was one of the best decisions I could have ever made because it opened my world up to new concepts I would have never discovered. What draws me to neuroscience and keeps me excited about my major is how we can always learn more about our complex brains. It is truly fascinating how connections of cells create who we are as a person and how we interact with the world around us. I can’t wait to continue learning more about the brain
