Action on Appointment of Superintendent

This memorandum is provided as notice, pursuant to Section 1073 of the Public School Code, 24 P.S. § 10-1073, that the agenda for the special meeting of the Board of School Directors of the Tri-Valley School District to be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, will include an item for the proposed election of Mr. Thomas A. Podpora as Superintendent for a term of 3 years, to begin July 1, 2026. Such meeting shall be convened at 5:00PM in the Tri-Valley High School Auditorium, 155 East Main Street, Hegins, Pennsylvania.

SPECIAL MEETING & BUDGET MEETING

The Tri-Valley School District Board of Directors will hold a public Special Board Meeting on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at 5:00PM in the auditorium of the Tri-Valley High School, 155 E Main St, Hegins, PA 17938. The purpose of the meeting is to appoint a Superintendent of Schools, take action on contracts, and other general business. A public Budget Workshop Meeting will commence immediately following the adjournment of the Special Meeting.  Molly V. Westfall, Secretary

The meeting agenda will be posted below prior to the meeting.

IMPORTANT NOTE:  The purpose of a public comment period is a time for the public to submit comments to the Board for consideration in further deliberations. Please understand this is not a time for dialogue or a question and answer period directed to the Board or any other member of administration. The portion of the meeting during which the public is invited to speak shall be limited to two (2) minutes per individual, fifteen (15) minutes total. Board and Superintendent email addresses are on the website if you would like to contact them. We ask that you please direct complaints of personnel nature regarding an individual employee directly to the Superintendent.

Proposals must be received at the Business Office, Tri-Valley School District, 110 West Main Street, Valley View, PA 17983, by no later than March 30, 2026, by 10:00 AM, prevailing time. Companies mailing proposals should allow sufficient delivery time to ensure the timely receipt of their proposals. All responsive RFP’s should be clearly marked “2026 Photographer” RFP.
