Kinesthetic Learning

Kinesthetic Learning:

 In Mr. Ho's MDM4U1 (Grade 12, Mathematics of Data Management) class, Mr. Ho provides his students with kinesthetic learning opportunities that connect the concepts of percentile, quartiles, and sample standard deviations to real-life applications.  His students got to move around to measure their heights, hand lengths, and shoe lengths, and then used the data to calculate percentiles, quartiles, and sample standard deviations.
