Forensic Psychology

The field of forensic psychology is the intersection of the study of psychology and the criminal justice and legal system. Students of forensic psychology study human behavior, particularly behaviors related to crime and court related situations. A forensic psychology professional works to collect evidence, learning how to examine, interpret, and present this information for use as it applies to the legal system. A forensic psychology professional would also work within the criminal justice system/processes in providing prevention, intervention, and treatment of offenders and victims.
