The EdD Handbook contains all the important information related to the doctoral program and policies. You must carefully review the handbook, and most questions regarding the program are answered there. As a doctoral candidate, we are assuming you have the necessary initiative to search out answers to questions on your own, and your first stop should always be the handbook. Your second stop can be the FAQs on the link above, and if you have a question that those spots don’t address, you can submit it via the EdD Student Survey link. Two important notes:
You must be logged in to your student PG email account to access the handbook.
The handbook is a living document that is updated as needed. Save the link, but don’t download the document as you want to be sure you’re looking at the current version.
Any questions related to the classroom material, procedures, or policies should be directed to your instructor. Anything related to grades, feedback, or deadlines in the classroom should also go to your instructor. You should always address any course-related questions to your instructor.
You’ll work with your Research Project Coordinator to develop your research project plan and have it approved. After it’s approved and you begin the research and writing phase, the Research Project Coordinator will take a background role in the process. Your course instructors will be your primary point of contact as you research, write, and revise your project.
Your advisor can assist with any questions related to university policies or your overall degree plan (including registration and schedule).
