We have lots going on here at St. Linus in the coming days and weeks. Trunk or Treat is Friday. See the website for more information. The Varsity football team is playing for the gold Ball Saturday at 7:00 at Brother Rice. Our annual Halloween Parade for PreK-3rd grade is Monday morning at 8:15 AM. 4-8 grade can dress down Monday in orange and black to celebrate Halloween. Please have the students participate fully by wearing black and orange and not just on their socks. Tuesday is All Saints Day and we will have an all school mass at 10:00 AM note the time change because it is a Holy Day of Obligation. The Book fair begins Saturday, November 5th. Kindergarten parents there is still time to sign up to help out email Mrs. Brennan or send in your volunteer form. If you are not a Kindergarten parent feel free to sign up and help if you would like. Good news on the grading front. Power School is almost here so we will have the grades online again. They have received all of our information and they have called us to find out where to send the bill so that sounds promising. As soon as we are up and running I will let you know. In the meantime 4-8 grade parents I hope you have received a progress report from your child's teachers because I know you were used to be able to access engrade. If you have not received one please contact the teachers and ask them for one. Feel free to contact the teachers if you have any questions or concerns about the grades. Very soon you will receive an email about signing up for parent teacher conferences which will take place on Tuesday November 22nd before our Thanksgiving break. We look forward to seeing you.
