UI Overview

SmartOI Host is divided into four main areas such as Menu&Toolbar, Environment bar, View, and Analysis bar.

Configure testing environment

• • Menu -> Interface

    • Configure SmartOI Host's interface with Socket, SmartOI Terminal, and Script Engine.

  • Menu -> Setting

    • Configure SmartOI Host's testing environment values such as Manual Response and Key Sets, and set options.

Set testing environment

In the environment bar, you can select mode you want to run, and you can set each testing environment for the mode you've selected.

• Internal Logic

• User Logic

• Test Script

Run

In the service toolbar, two buttons exist for start and stop service functionality.

Start service by pressing this button or by using accelerator key combination (Ctrl+T).

Stop button is enabled after service started.

You can stop service at any time you want by pressing this button or by using accelerator key combination (Ctrl+P).

Analyze

Analyze service details through View.

More detailed analysis for the selected data in the View is possible through the Analysis Bar.

Host Gateway

When you are going to run SmartOI Host with your own security logic implemented by you, you have to do interface with SmartOI Host through Host Gateway which is named as HostGW.

Through HostGW, you can get values you need from SmartOI Host, and you can set host responses to it.
