Terri is welcomed to start her presentation, she starts talking about her background of high school, college, and how she became a meteorologist. She mentions how not very many women meteorologists were in the field at the time when she started working.

She started as a WWMT TV 1990 News Reporter before she graduated from Mississippi State University in 1991. She then went on in the Weekend Morning Weather in 1992. She went from WWMT to Wood TV in 1995 in the Daybreak/Noon Expanded Newscasts.

Terri was the first woman in Michigan to earn the AMS Meteorology Seal! Community service was very important to her while working in the field.

Terri goes into the technology advancement and how it has been very interesting to watch the process gets a lot easier, faster, and better quality.

Over the years Terri participated in Radio Partnerships and Weather Questions, which were very fun shows and had many interactive questions from listeners which meant alot to her.

She became the 8 West Host which she said was very fascinating watching the evolution of Broadcasting through that program.

In 2023 she retired from Wood TV 8 to start a new career aligning with her first interents of financing in college with Jacob Financial.

Terri explains her thoughts on the technological advances, weather advances, and forecasting advances that have come over the years of her journey in the Broadcasting field.

She talks about how she misses knowing everything about what she did and the importance of challenging yourself and exercising your brain.

The rest of the group asks Terri a few questions and shares some past stories.

Meeting adjourned: 8:11pm
