“It’s an important hands-on science project,” said Doug Stegura, a member of the Shenandoah Valley chapter of Trout Unlimited and the local TU coordinator for the program. “The teachers love it because the kids really get into it. It’s something they can see right in front of them and not just something they’re reading from a text book.”
