We put in about 800 lbs of big 12-18" rainbows into the delayed harvest section of the South River on Monday, 3/1/13 (no joke!). The fish were paid for by the South River Fly Shop and other donors. We had a great turnout to release the fish. Thanks to everyone that came out!
SO go catch them fish! We need lots of fly fishers in downtown Waynesboro to both enjoy the fishing and report poaching. Please put the enforcement number in your cellphone: 1-800-237-5712. It also works to just mention the regulations to folks. I've helped sheepish anglers repatriate fish from their stringer, and they were nice about it.
