Course Description
Digital Music Lab provides an opportunity for students to listen to and create music to express themselves in a variety of mediums. Students will work with technology platforms like SoundTrap, Audacity, GarageBand, and Noteflight to create and produce music. Students will learn about and use the elements of music to analyze, edit, compose, and arrange. Students will also share and learn to evaluate their music with their peers. This class will result in a SoundCloud portfolio of musical arrangements and compositions to demonstrate competencies in skills related to composition and production. The four state and national music standards will be addressed in this class: Create, Perform, Respond, and Connect.
