Digital Music Lab
Course Description
Digital Music Lab is a class that focuses entirely on music through digital means. Students will have their own computer to use during each class and will work on projects using several programs (e.g. GarageBand, iMovie, Finale, Soundtrap, Noteflight, Audacity, etc.). Students will learn how to create their own sheet music as well as their own music. They will focus on the musical concepts of notation, arranging and composition. They will also learn how to integrate music into projects for other classes by cutting their own music tracks and creating short films.
