6th-Grade Band
6th-Grade Band meets once every THIRD day (A rotation Day) for 42 minutes. Each student is responsible for practicing on their own. Practice logs are due every other week. Students should be practicing at least 30 minutes each week.
Students also receive 10 participation points in each class. Points are deducted for a forgotten instrument (-10), forgotten music (-2) or lack of participation. Students can make up forgotten lesson points by practicing an extra 30 minutes at home. Students must attend TWO concerts during the school year. This is a graded class and all students will receive an A, B, C, D or F grade. See below for the class expectations and performance dates.
